The Future of Remote Working

The Future of Remote Working

zoom call 2

Since March, many companies have asked their employees to work from home to help slow the spread of the coronavirus. Although many people had never worked from home before March of this year a remote work report on Hubspot showed that the number of employees who work from home at least once a week since 2010 has increased by 400%.

No End in Sight

As of now, a large portion of companies have no plans for employees to return to work for at least the first quarter of 2021 and many have said that employees can stay remote as long as they want. Yet some have not set up the necessary infrastructure and employee experience to function efficiently while remote.

A Variety of Tools

Challenges do sometimes come with a remote workforce. But there are tools that make remote life easier for everyone, from communication systems and time tracking apps to learning platforms and employee experience surveys. Wise leaders have been implementing effective remote work strategies since the beginning of the pandemic (and even before), and this will become even more important in 2021.
