At CorCystems, we’re proud to work with organizations that are making a positive impact in their communities. Today we want to highlight one of those clients, The Center for Empowerment and Education (CEE). CEE is a non-profit organization with a mission to end violence against individuals and families and to foster equality and empowerment for all. CEE provides a wide range of services, including prevention, crisis intervention, and support services related to domestic violence, sexual assault, and other major life transitions. CEE’s services are at no cost and confidential and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.
CEE’s vision for the future is to interrupt the cycle of violence by providing crisis intervention services to any individual experiencing violence and to eliminate future acts of violence through prevention education in their community. They are working to eradicate violence through various initiatives, including providing crisis intervention services, access to emergency housing, and counseling services.
They also have some exciting plans for the future, including two major fundraisers this year. On March 8, 2023, CEE is hosting its 15th Annual Hearts of Hope breakfast at The Candlewood Inn, and on June 16, 2023, Annual Dinner, which is their largest fundraiser of the year, and the success of this event is critical to maintaining the current scope of services in their community. We encourage you to RSVP to this exciting and important event.
The Center for Empowerment and Education relies on fundraising and events to meet the basic requirements to intervene and prevent domestic and sexual violence in their community. The state and federal funding only provides 50% of what it takes to keep their programs operational, and we encourage you to support this amazing organization if you can.
CorCystems has been working with CEE since mid-2022, and it’s been an honor to support their important work. Recently, we had the opportunity to help CEE upgrade their outdated IT infrastructure. Our team completed a full assessment of risk and made clear recommendations to ensure that CEE could safely and effectively deliver their services with a solid IT infrastructure in place.
CorCystems is honored to support the important work of organizations like CEE, and we’re proud to be a part of their journey. As Ashley Dunn, President & CEO, said, “CorCystems have been a true partner in our mission. They have helped us to upgrade our IT infrastructure and secure our data, which is critical to our work.”
We look forward to continuing to work with CEE and supporting their important mission.
